Open Positions
Full-Time Commercial Electrician
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems in commercial buildings and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial environments such as office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems and components, including conduit, wiring, switches, panels, and lighting.
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications.
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure system functionality and compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other trades on construction and renovation projects.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and make necessary repairs.
- Provide quality customer service and maintain professional communication with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician.
- Valid state or local electrician license or certification (if required).
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with hand and power tools related to the electrical trade.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship program completion preferred.
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with energy-efficient lighting and control systems.
- Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
